Living Legend

Again a sketch I did during breaks at work. Just wanted to update Schattenschleicher´s design a bit, as the first one was just a......first one.

Still not the end result, but I felt like drawing him again because I did alot of RPs with him in the past few weeks XD
It´s mixed media, for the BG I thought that I try to make it look old.....dunno just some experiments.

Technically this is not his real form tho. Schattenschleicher originally is a lizardman, but in my lore he´s been blessed with dragon magic and so he became a Dragen Knight, one of the legendary warriors who fought the evil creatures from the black chaos to prevent them to destroy the balance of the world. Only ancient dragons, the first creatures even alive, were able to give mortals those mighty powers. 

They were worshipped by the races of Antaeos, but those days are over now, since the Dark Lord corrupted some of the Knights and even dragons to make them atack the citizens and kill thousands of innocent people. After that the dragons were hated as cruel and evil creatures and the Dragon Knights nearly all disappeared or died in the battles. Now there are just a few left and they try to hide their identity from the world. 

To kill the last remaining dragons and their Knights, the best warriors of the kingdom founded the "Royal Dragon Killers", some elite Knights who had special training in killing dragons. so those both parties, Knights and Killers, fight each oher while the Dark Lord is rising again.


Yeah just some random stuff about my lore (The Lore is called "Flames of Reckoning" btw). Still working on it tho. And maybe here are some fans of it: yes, I got inspired by the Ego Draconis game of the Divinity Series by Larian studios. I just love their lore and adpted some things from it. Deal with it, it´s just for private use.
